This 1975 cult classic musical is popular for its midnight theatrical screenings. A high level of audience participation can be anticipated. Singing, shouting, and dancing all take place at these midnight showings.  There are memorable rock ‘n’ roll tunes and playful sexual innuendos all acted out live right in front of the movie screen.

The film opens with Brad Majors (Barry Bostwick) and Janet Weiss (Susan Sarandon) who have just proclaimed their love for each other. Their car has left them stranded in a rain storm and they must seek shelter at a strange nearby castle. Soon the couple realizes that these party animal residents are anything but ordinary. Dr. Frank N Furter (Tim Curry) and servants Riff Raff (Richard O’Brien), Columbia (Nell Campbell), and Magenta (Patricia Quinn) are in the middle of a diabolic scheme to bring to life a young blonde beefcake. Are Brad and Janet guests or the next on Frank’s list? Jim Sharman directs this exciting adventure that is said to be “So bad, it’s good!”
