Pittsburg and the surrounding region have been missing an important component for over 40 years – a vibrant and engaging heart of the city. When students and regional residents wish to experience fresh, contemporary entertainment, they generally travel out of state to find it. The community needs an exciting downtown gathering place that will inspire, motivate, and activate Pittsburg’s cultural audiences to invest in our local economy.

The Colonial Fox Theatre will be a vibrant partner in the downtown neighborhood, nurturing economic growth and providing cultural opportunities that will attract an educated workforce. Our unique space will offer opportunities for local arts organizations to expand and create programming options which would not be appropriate at larger venues.

This culturally significant structure is the perfect space to house unique programming that will cater to a modern audience’s expectations.
